What is Facebook Pixel

Using Facebook Pixel is a great tool that can track visitors who may be interested, but hasn’t fully taken action in your funnel to convert. Generally, it is used to drive and measure the results of your ads and interactions… awesome Analytics and building target audiences.

How To Set Up A Retargeting Campaign

Retargeting is helpful for those visitors who have already made it to something on your site and have demonstrated some sort of expressed interest. You can use this to essentially be a reminder about your service, except with a more focused approach of knowing what/where they come from and what their interest is from the previous site visit.

In short, you can put the visitors into buckets that correlate to specific targeting ads. Ads for targeting Sellers can be one bucket, ads for Buyers is another bucket, ads for those who downloaded a foreclosure PDF is another bucket, etc.

Note: As for the Retargeting, Facebook says 1,000 people are needed to have fired off the pixel before retargeting Pixel comes to life and you can start using the “buckets” to implement focused ads.
