Carrot CRM – Notes Section


Introduction

Notes are a great way to summarize your observations on seller interactions and outcomes. By saving Notes, you will be able to keep track of the progress of the Opportunity. The Notes section is located inside the opportunity but you can also access it from the list view of Actions or Opportunities.


Inside an Opportunity

  1. Inside an Opportunity, click the orange vertical Notes bar on the right side of the page to pull out the Notes section
  2. Click Enter Note to add/edit Notes
  3. Click the save button on the upper right to ensure your notes are saved.

🚨 IMPORTANT: Make sure to hit the save button when adding notes before closing the opportunity. Unsaved notes are not stored anywhere else and may disappear if not saved properly before moving on to another opportunity.


From Actions/Opportunities Section

  1. Go to the Actions or Opportunities section
  2. Look for the Opportunity with the Notes you want to view or edit
  3. Click More Options next to the action or Opportunity to open the shortcuts menu
  4. Select View Notes to see the Notes on the Opportunity
  5. Click on the space below Notes to enter edit mode
  6. Select Done
