Custom HTML

Custom HTML blocks are used to add html code onto a page. This is often for third-party application scripts and codes.

Classic

Using the Classic Block Editor

Classic block is the classic editor that you will be familiar with if you joined circa October 2019. It is similar to a word processor, such as Microsoft Word or TextEdit.

Preformatted

How to Use the Preformatted Block

Preformatted blocks keep all spaces and line breaks intact. It is wonderful if you are copying and pasting information from a previous document that already had everything styled.

Pullquote

Using the Pullquote Block

Pullquote blocks emphasize a part of your text.

Features & Styles:

  • Styles – these settings apply to all content within the block
    • Default has two bars above and below the quote
    • Solid color adds a color background to the entire quote
  • Color Settings – Black, grey, white, and your branding colors are available
    • Main color of the background
    • Text color of all the text in the block

Table

Add Table Blocks for Sharing Data Points

Table blocks insert multiple rows and columns onto the page without having to code them in. Perfect for sharing charts and data.

Columns is the number of boxes across
Rows is the number of boxes down

Features & Styles:

  • Styles – these settings apply to all content within the block
    • Default separates rows and columns with a thin solid line
    • Stripes add a horizontal color stripe every other row to separate rows
  • Table Settings
    • Fixed width cells maintain the column width, regardless of the content in it
    • Header section adds a header to the top of the table
    • Footer section adds a section to the bottom of the table
  • Color Settings – Black, grey, white, and your branding colors are available
    • Background color sets the background of the entire table of the default style and the stripe color if set to stripes
